Happy Birthday Susanna & Elias!

As of today there are two Burtts in the world that were born at home. They happen to share the same birthday! = ) Seventeen years ago today Susanna was born at home and delivered by dad. She came so fast mom couldn't make it to the hospital! Today our cousin, Abby, gave birth to a little boy, Elias Lee. He was also born at home but came a little slower with two midwives there to deliver him. We can't wait to see our new little cousin! He sounds really cute with red hair like his big sister Elena! = ) We will post pictures of the birthday girl and little guy when we get some. Happy Birthday to both of you!

Joanna & Carter

The girls are having fun in Chicago. While Suzy & Lydia were at string camp,
Tabitha had a photo shoot with the kids.

Carter didn't like the grass between his toes. =) Joanna was trying so hard to smile even though she was
being very dramatic about not liking the feel of the grass. =)

Disc Golf

Uncle Paul was home from Singapore for a month. John and Jeremy managed to play ten games of disc golf with Uncle Paul on a 24 hole course. There's a drive up A&W near the park where they played. The winner always won a free root beer float. There were many close games! Uncle Paul was determined to win a free float, but never did. :-( John is a whiz at disc golf, but Uncle Paul was a great sport. :-) He even bought the boys a disc golf basket before he went back to Singapore. The boys enjoyed their time with him and we are all looking forward to having him back at Christmas.

String Camp

Tabitha, Suzy and Lydia went to Illinois for string camp at Marquette Manor Baptist Church. They'll be staying with Lloyd & Bethany for the week. Some of us are hoping to go for the final concert on Friday night and also to see our new nephew, Nathan. :-)

Spending Time With Family

We had a great week with Aunt Mary, Laura and Caitlyn. We don't get to see them very often since they live in Texas. We wish they could have stayed longer but the time we had was fun!

We went bowling...

Julie & Mary

Julie and Mary left this afternoon on the train. They're going to Camp Joy for two weeks. (you'd think it was two months with all of that luggage! ;-) The girls are excited about working on staff and spending time with Adam, Tizzy and Jacquelyn.
We'll miss you both!
