Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house many creatures were stirring, and there was no mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney without much care, in hopes that Santa would soon be there.
And what to their wondering eyes did appear? But a white robed bum with no reindeer.
Even though a rookie she grabbed her milk and cookies, and muttered to herself, "I sure could use an elf!"
Even though some didn't deserve it, she left some gifts so the kids weren't miffed. And she quickly dashed out of sight wishing all a Merry Christmas and to all a good night.
