In Loving Memory of Joy Hirth

The Lord took our pastor's wife, Joy Hirth,
home to Heaven on Friday, February 19, 2010.
She was diagnosed with cancer eight years ago. At
that time, the doctors said she had six months
to a year. The Lord has graciously done many
miracles in the last eight years to give her more time
with us. She has lived the last eight years vibrantly
and full of life. She always had a sweet spirit and
never complained. Even though we will miss her,
we are rejoicing that she is with the Lord and we
will see her again someday.
Please keep our Pastor and church family
in your prayers during this time. The funeral
service will be at our church on Saturday,
Feburary 27th at 11:00 a.m.

These are lovely pictures of Joy and Pastor Hirth. Thank you for posting them.

My hear, tears, and prayers continue for all of you in this time of great loss.
I am most thankful to have known Joy the little that I did. I look forward to seeing her again one sweet day.

God bless,
Beth Fisher

Early last week the Lord brought back the memory to me of Joy singing "His Eye is on the Sparrow." What a lovely picture of Joy that is. Joy was always an encouragement to me and others even as she went through very difficult things in her life. Now her faith has become sight. She is with the Lord whom she served willingly, faithfully, and lovingly. Praying for everyone who loved Joy especially Preacher and everyone at the church.

We're so sorry for the acute loss you surely must feel. What a precious saint Mrs. Hirth was, and heaven is so much sweeter now that she is there. Looking forward to celebrating her life with you all on Saturday.

The pictures of Pastor Hirth and Joy are so sweet. Joy was such a sweet, kind, gracious lady. But more than that, she loved the Lord and glorified Him with her testimony through it all. My heart goes out to Pastor and the church family. Dennis and I are praying for you all.

I had no idea Joy was with the Lord until I stumbled across your page. I knew her briefly from traveling with her and Gary on a trip to Israel. She was a dear person in whom the Light of the Lord shone brightly. I know you miss her greatly.

Howdy, I think your blog might be having browser compatibility problems.
Whenever I take a look at your website in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in
IE, it has some overlapping issues. I merely wanted to provide you with a quick
heads up! Other than that, excellent website!

Hey there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with hackers?
My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing many months of hard work due to no backup.
Do you have any solutions to protect against hackers?

Found this blog much belatedly, being inspired to google Joy's name after hearing a radio message by Jim Van Gelderen last night travelling through Virginia. So sorry for your loss, yet the Lord's gain.

I fondly remember Joy from a missions team in Nova Scotia, Canada, summer of 1979 where I taught school. Truly a delightful and sweet young lady at that time, full of love and vibrancy for the Lord, and love for children. She will be missed this side of the veil.

I found the blog even more belatedly than others, but I have fond memories of the Hirths from my undergraduate days, 1993 - 1995. I can still hear with great clarity Pastor Hirth's voice in my mind, and though he may not know his ministry made an impression upon me, it did.
