In Loving Memory of Joy Hirth

The Lord took our pastor's wife, Joy Hirth,
home to Heaven on Friday, February 19, 2010.
She was diagnosed with cancer eight years ago. At
that time, the doctors said she had six months
to a year. The Lord has graciously done many
miracles in the last eight years to give her more time
with us. She has lived the last eight years vibrantly
and full of life. She always had a sweet spirit and
never complained. Even though we will miss her,
we are rejoicing that she is with the Lord and we
will see her again someday.
Please keep our Pastor and church family
in your prayers during this time. The funeral
service will be at our church on Saturday,
Feburary 27th at 11:00 a.m.

Random Pictures =)

Life has been so busy there hasn't been time for posting. Here are a few random pictures we haven't had time to share.

Mom & Rachel made a quick trip to Chicago to see Bethany and the little ones while Lloyd was out of town. Dad decided to surprise Mom and redo the stairs while she was gone. It was his first time recarpeting stairs but dad can do anything! He did a great job! =)

Tabitha wanted to see how dad would look with a goatee.
She decided to try out her skills and draw one on for him.
What do you think? =)
We haven't had as much snow this year as we have in the past. We finally got some a few weeks ago and the kids loved being out in it!
A friend of ours rented an IMAX theater and invited a huge group to watch "A Christmas Carol" in 3D. We all had a great time! John is always trying to find an opportunity to drive so he offered to pull up our friend's truck.
This is a fun picture from when the girls were home.
We miss having everyone home!! We all went out to Big Boy for breakfast one morning
when everyone was home for Christmas.
Joanna is starting to take after Aunt Tabitha.
She loves to do anyone's hair that will let her!
Carter was accidentally knocked down by the manager
when he was walking into the bathroom. He felt bad and brought
Carter his very own sundae free of charge. =)

Tabitha is easily amused and had fun making reindeer pancakes
from what she could find at the breakfast bar. = )
