Labor Day

Every year we have a Labor Day brunch with my moms side of the family...

My moms Grandpa made this picnic table (below) for my moms

family in 1962. Uncle Paul just refinished the picnic table this

summer so we can use it at our house.

Suzy turned "Sweet 16!"

Our Friend Jimmy Mills...

Jimmy Mills went home to be with the Lord on July 20, 2007. Jimmy had just graduated from high school and was planning on going to college this fall. Jimmy was very involved in the music at the church. He was a wonderful pianist and also sang in the choir. He was very friendly and had a contagious laugh. Jimmy will be greatly missed!

Naomi turned 6 last week! She had lots of fun being spoiled. =)

Air Show

We all went to the air show last week. The weather was beautiful & we had a great time. Uncle Paul was visiting from Singapore so he went with us too.

We had our niece and nephew in town this weekend. We always have so much fun with them!

She has so many people telling her how cute she is all the time that she's starting to know she's cute. =) She was looking in the mirror saying, "I'm so pretty!"

We took lil Joanna, Lydia, Hannah & Naomi to some fountains.

It's beautiful....

It's also a great place to cool off when it's hot! =)

It was so hot, the girls were just dying to jump in...

next time we'll go a lil more prepared.




Carter is such a good baby! He's getting so big, and so handsome. =)

Julia & Susie tried to bake some frozen pizzas...

... they ended up playing frisbee with them. =)

Chicago

We went to Chicago this weekend for a wedding and to take Joanna back home. It was a quick trip, but we had lots of fun.

We all got together after the wedding. This was our last time seeing

Sam & Abby before they leave for their survey trip to Africa.
